Correction: Thanks to SSC, who pointed out that the quote is not the original statement. Here seems to be the more genuine saying:

Every man takes the limits of his own vision for the limits of the world.

  1. It’s interesting that an extra word “nearly” is put ahead of what Schopenhauer said, as “Every person takes the limits of their own field of vision for the limits of the world.” Well, maybe leaders are simply every person.
