Homepage Version 3

Anyone noticed the change of the homepage? It is 3rd major change in the design. I added some key elements that have been requested for a long time, including links, archives, recent comment preview… It is still in beta, which means I may still change it when I have time and some part may not work perfectly.

What do you think of the new homepage?

I guess this is why I could not why your website with Mozilla Firefox today.

  2. yes, your css doesn’t work well under firefox, or safari (mac browser)

  3. ur new homepage sux, doesn’t work with firefox.

  4. It does, indeed, work with Firefox. Thanks!

  5. I didn’t notice Firefox has so much different than IE. Something that works perfectly in IE does not work in Firefox. I have changed the DIV property a little bit and it works in both worlds. Then, what is the comment?

  6. ie sux coz ie does not follow w3c standard. firefox rulez.

  7. Ops. Didn’t know so many people are using FireFox now.

Works perfectly now and the website looks nice too.

  9. Looks great in Firefox and Opera. :)

Maybe it would be better having the Previous Headlines before the recent comments on the main page instead of the other way around. Blog readers are more interested in knowing what you’ve blogged about instead of seeing the latest comments first. I don’t really enjoy scrolling down to see the latest blog entries’ titles.

  10. Some other blog readers are more interested in reading the latest comments. Maybe you can use a three-column design.

    What is FireFox?

  11. As you wish, bigbro and aline

  12. firefox is the project of mozilla (open source team based on the old netscape engine, but i’m not quite sure).

and the official release 1.0 is for today !!!

the team declare firefow will get 10% of the browser market.

    what i like in firefox

    – much lighter than opera, and the webpages seems to load as fast as it (opera is said the fastest browser on the web)

-tab navigation (once you’ve tried, you can’t navigate with thousand windows of IE again)

    – plug ins, especially mouse gesture like opera (so time saving!!!, just try it; right click+mouse gesture down = open in a new tab, right click/mouse gesture up= close the current tab…)

    – the most compatible browser in os X platform (more than safari, the same as opera, i don’t even mention IE which is just crappy on mac.)

  13. Hey..dude ..what’s up? new version is awesome~~ Haven’t stopped by for a long time..

your website is going great ~~Wendy’s blog is impressive

  14. Thanks, speedyop.
