Free .TK Domain Available

Do you know there is a country called Tokelau on our planet? I didn’t know it either before blogopoly mentioned that I can get free top level domain from this country.

It is small island some where in the world – I still didn’t find a map with its name yet. Some crazy guys from the Dot TK team visited the atolls in September 2003 and presented what the Internet means to such a small country. They met with the Council of Elderly and concluded that they can use Internet to bring foods and medicines to the small country. The idea they thought of is to offer FREE .tk domain to the world.

Of cause, not all domains are free. I tried to register wjs.com and I was told it cost 5000 USD. Free domains only support URL forward and you actually don’t own the domain since the domain is not licensed to you.

Having the story told, let me tell you can get from the island. If you have any fancy idea that you want get started quickly, but don’t want those dynamics domain names, just visit DOT.TK and registered a FREE .TK domain name. For example, I just registered wangjianshuo.tk. Visitors to the domain is redirected to an URL you set.

Hurry. Plenty of very good domain names are available.

  1. I have registered my address to my link, but it doesn’t work anyway…

Is the problem of my networks? ’cause I can’t visit the blogspot site either.

  2. well, tutu and Willie, as a matter of fact DOT.NET DO has set those name activated, problem is that in mainland China they are once again BLOCKED!:(

Try browsing them by the @nonymous Service which probably will work then.

    BEARINGPOINT.TK AS

    http://anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/http://www.bearingpoint.tk

    AND WANGJIANSHUO.TK AS

    http://anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/http://www.wangjianshuo.tk

    Right?

But I don’t think we can hardly keep those domain name free coz DOT.TK requests a minimun traffic of 30 visitors within 90 days, or else they will retreive those domains.

If mainland always block those domains it’ll be pretty impossible.

  5. Hey i also tried to sign up for .tk and it never worked.. i typed in my domain name and clicked next. it then brought a page, the buy or free page, i clicked free then next. It then came up with register a domian name again. I have done this several time and none have been differant, please tell me how you fix it… Thanks

  6. Um, yeah. The reason the .tk URLs aren’t working is because you may not have the ads turned off. Just log on to you your account and go to Link Promo page. Click ‘NO THANKS.’ to ads and you will be ad free!!! It works for free accounts! Believe me it works. At first I was like, why isn’t my .tk URL working and that solved my problem. This is probably what is happening to your page.

  7. Anyone know good porn sites with girls singing rap songs while shaking there hands up and down naked? only thing that turns me on now of days

  8. You know what, I stumbled here from google and went to dotTK site and registered. Well, after so many years you posted this, it worked out well. I must say its really awesome to have a free domain (not own, but still its something)

    Thanks for info.

    Cheers
