  1. After much traveling through China, I can confidently say that Beijing airport is the worst design of an that i’ve seen throughout china and across North America

  2. Well, t, why? It is definitely not the worst design in China, although you can argue whether it is among the worst in all airports in LARGE cities in the world.

I like the design and it is sometimes more convinient than Pudong Airport. Some old airports in China, even in major cities like Chengdu and old Guangzhou airport, even look like a crowded rail station. Fortunately, some of them have been rebuilt.

  3. Hello t

Airport is a venue for travellers to use as a transit point, convenience is paramount to the travellers.

When you compare PEK to O’Hare in Chicago which consists of 3 terminals, 9 concourses and the perimeter is over a mile wide. I perfer PEK over O’Hare in convenience.

  4. Well Stephen,

Chicago O’Hare has flights taking off every 30 seconds compared to the 10 flights a day PEK deals with and STILL messes up. Now, what has design got to do with efficiency???
