I registered for the exam of 074-100 MSF Practitioner 21 days from today. I was convienced to register for an exam first will benifit the preparation by giving myself pressure. It is true. It is also true that by announcing the exam you are going to take will strengthen the pressure so force myself to learn harder. :-) True. (The course for this lesson is 1864) I will go to the Prometric center at Dong Hua Universtiry. Personally, I don't like Prometic test center's operation in China - the computers are old, the locations are hard to find. There is even no supervisor for in the class room.
The other exam I have registered is the TOEIC (Test of English For International Communication) exam the next week. I didn't prepare for it right now since I think I can pass, although may not get a high score. TOEIC is becoming more and more popular recently in Shanghai. I can see this term in newspapers, especially on job related newspaper. Dozon of books have been published for preparation of this exam. Many multinational companies requie this certificate for their employees. To be honest, I didn't know what it is half a year ago.

I attend the test this morning. It is the most unprepared exam I have ever attended. The score will come out in two weeks.

The TOEIC score comes out to be 915. I also got a PASS for MSF Practitioner Exam yesterday.

Right. TOEIC is very new to the personnel of China. I'll take IELTS next year.

Now I know the phrase saying ?the busiest man makes the most time ? Look at you -- go to work, keep this blog refreshed every day, do the driver license training, study for newest exam to enhance your career, and go out for a trip from weekend even till Monday frequently, of course, you still have enough time to go for groceries and enjoy yourself around the dinner table with your family. I wonder if God bless you more than 24 hours a day?
If you don’t feel bored, please let us know what is your tip of making time with you. By the way, saying TOEIC, what scores gained means what you said above you could pass? 730, 800, or 860 points? How often is TOEIC held now in Shanghai? How much it takes? And how long will you get your scores from test held? I hope I don’t interrupt you in your cramming time. Good luck to you! Nice to hear from you again. I was wondering about whehter you are still with this blog for some time before you posted again.
Acutally, what you see in this blog is just part of my normal daily life - just as anyone in the city or in the world. I am also amazed by the details of life I logged everyday and feel the sense of accomplishment, which is the power of online daily blog.
I don't have any tip about time management, actually, I have to say, the tip may not exist. :-D I did attend some time management classes. The classes are good in terms of the content they delivered, but the effects take long time to see.
For TOEIC, it is different than other exams held by EST, like TOEFL, GMAT. It is hosted by the company instead of the testing center. I didn't attend it yet, so don't know the details yet, but at least I know that I need to go to the company I work for this Sat and take the exam. I think 800+ is a very good score already.

I am surprised that you, a busy man even remember and think of the likes of me whom only has entered the site for limited times. A matter of fact is, I posted this site on the top of my Intenet blowser list, as I take it as the best window of knowing updated Shanghai and new Shanghainese. I had heard about the TOEIC,but the exam is not available in xi'an now.I think the ability of English is more important than any time before.
Last year,I took the IELTS and I will take the TOFEL next week.Through the study,I improved my english very well.

Computers in the Prometric center at Dong Hua Universtiry are simply old. The monitors are 14 inch ones and keep flashing. Taking one hour exam in front of such a moniotor and a hard keyboard was a bad experience.
Now itis the second site in Google for MSF Practitioner exam. :-)
