Pointtolife was opened by a Hong Kong architect. It sells design books only and serves coffee. Nice place to visit. I don’t see many customers there and I believe the owner doesn’t care about revenue. It seems the shop only opens for fun.
Temperature Drops in Shanghai

Hai Hai Road ?I’m not familiar with SH yet but where is Hai hai Road? I know only Huai hai.
I was wondering… Are there any apartments right in Xintiandi? Perhaps 1-2 bedroom places above the stores or interleaved amongst the commercial buildings in the immediate area? I am an expat that will be moving to Shanghai in Feb ’05, and Xintiandi seems like a very nice place to live — convneient to bars, restaraunts, etc. Ideally, it would be neat to live in an old Shikumen building with new, modern rennovations on the interior…
Or is there a better place to live for expats? Thoughts anyone?
