In case you don't know yet, the exact time of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is
May 1 2010 to Oct 31, 2010
I didn't know this before (the previous news I got was just in the year of 2010).

Will the prices of everything be gigantic? What if we came
right after the Expo, say in November of 2010? Won't there be
great signts and exhibitions still around? What do you advise?

I just want to drop you a note. Thanks for creating this informative website. I live in the US but go to Shanghai quite often for a EMBA program at Shanghai Jiaotong University. I would love to move to China permanently. Do you have any suggestions for expat jobs? By the way, does it get really hot in the summer in Shanghai? Thanks.

i am currently living in shanghai, and i hope to be around for expo 2010. i was in lisbon for expo 1998 (the theme was the oceans) and it was amazing! great things happen when countries get together to show their culture and history. :)
by the way, nice blog. it was really helpful to get to know shanghai prior to moving here. keep up the good work!
