SJTU = Shanghai Jiao Tong University
This is the view outside my office - the window is immediately at my left.
Sping comes, and the great grassland was full of people - in twos or threes. I believe they will be very happy about the sunshine.

Posted by: misiter on April 4, 2007 11:19 PMthis good university have a great atmosphere about studying.
by comparison,i feel my colledge is so lazy.
the lawn is dirty so nobody can sit on.
and the key element is the circumustance of learning knowledge.
my university have been in leisure and dull life.
unfortunately.....
Nice pictures! It looks serene. I wonder how big jiao tong physically is.
Posted by: Steve on April 5, 2007 3:00 AMI didn't know there were places in China where they allowed people to step on the grass. I've lived in Shanghai for quite a few years and the only patch of grass that I knew of where people could step on was in the Jinjiang Hotel (the old side). Actually even at that location, you can only step on it at night when people weren't looking.
Posted by: Shockr on April 5, 2007 5:09 AMMight want to lower the exposure on the above pictures -- a wee bit too bright on the eyes. Other than that, nice campus :-)
Sidenote: Yes, you can step on grass in China. Just pay the green fee & you can step on grass over half a day if you like ;-)
