lovely. Where is that ? If it's Xiamen, can I have the hostel details cos I'll be there in August.

The first one looks like it was in Xiamen University. That's on the upward slope from 厦大三家村 toward the 白城 beach. I spent many days walking that path toward the beach to swim with friends and check out girls :) Oh, the good old days of Xiamen University!

I will be in Xiamen in July. Really looking forward to it.

Most hostel on Gulangyu of Xiamen are very good - the whole area is wonderful. I don't remember the name of the hostel Wendy stayed. it should be on the Quanzhou Road.
