I am just back from F1 Grand Prix. I took some pictures there.
Carsten and Gweilo are right. The cars were very noisy and the earplugs Carsten shared with me are very useful so I can spare my hands from my ears.
Well. I have to admit that the race is not as exciting as I expected. I am not a F1 fan. So I don't know the names of each team and each player. Since it was too noisy and I was wearing the earplugs, so I missed the broadcasting inside the circuit. I stood there and watched the 56 round of the race - it seems a little bit boring for me for the middle 30 circles. It seems I should have done more homework before I went there.

Now the long-expected F1 circuit is over. The event seems to be too short compared to the two years' preparation. It went away almost at a speed faster than the racing cars!

I finally got the F1 Grand Prix. I was not interested in F1, as most of people in Shanghai, maybe in China. No suprise. This is the time time F1 comes to this country. I never saw real F1 before. However, when the big, nice, red ticket is on my hand, I became a little bit excited. I never saw F1 before. At the time I bought it, there are only GRASS STAND TICKET for Sunday, Sept 26, 2004.

On the official Shanghai International Circuit website, there are some very cool photos of the venue. Go there and have a look. I will bring my camera with me and record the event.
The venue is not very far from Shanghai downtown - if and only if you have a car. Here is a map, somewhere at the north-west part of the city. It is 30 minutes car ride to Hong Qiao Airport, 50 minutes to the Pudong Airport.

Attended a private party on the boat of the Huan Pu river. The boat left the pier at the Bund and toured on the river. Shanghai also has great views (if not better) than San Francisco at night, but very few people in Shanghai have the chance to experience the amazing city - not so many people have the sensation of the beauty of the city and not so many people have spare time as visitors have for this city, or simply don't have enough money for it.
Recently, a laser light was installed exactly on top of the Jin Mao Tower - the tallest building in China, and the third tallest in the world. The laser lights shot to the sky and form a strong light pole in the landscape of Shanghai.
Tonight, the light was reserved with the boat, so in the two hour tour, the spot light followed the boat, and the boat is just like the spotlighted actor in the dark Huang Pu River. It is fantastic. Ich bin gerechte Rückseite von F1 großartiges Prix. Ich machte einige Photos dort.
Carsten und Gweilo sind recht. Die Autos waren sehr laut und die Ohrenpfropfen Carsten, das mit mir geteilt wird, sind sehr nützlich, also kann ich meinen Händen von meinen Ohren ersparen.
Brunnen. Ich muß zulassen, daß das Rennen nicht so aufregend ist, wie ich erwartete. Ich bin nicht ein Ventilator F1. So kenne ich nicht die Namen jeder Mannschaft und jedes Spielers. Da er zu laut war und ich trug die Ohrenpfropfen, also vermißte ich die Sendung innerhalb des Stromkreises. Ich stand dort und paßte die 56 auf, die vom Rennen rund sind - es scheint für mich für die Mitte 30 Kreise ein wenig langweilig. Es scheint, daß ich mehr Heimarbeit getan haben sollte, bevor ich dort ging.

Eu sou parte traseira justa do F1 Prix grande. Eu fiz exame de alguns retratos lá.
Carsten e Gweilo são direitos. Os carros eram muito ruidosos e os earplugs Carsten compartilhado com mim são muito úteis assim que eu posso poupar minhas mãos de minhas orelhas.
Poço. Eu tenho que admitir que a raça não é tão emocionante como eu esperei. Eu não sou um ventilador F1. Assim eu não sei os nomes de cada equipe e de cada jogador. Desde que era demasiado ruidoso e eu desgastava os earplugs, assim que eu faltei a transmissão dentro do circuito. Eu estive lá e prestei atenção aos 56 redondos da raça - parece um pouco aborrecida para mim para os círculos do meio 30. Pareceu que eu devo ter feito mais homework antes que eu fui lá.
