quite usefull page for foreigners.

here an idea that might be usefull, but not easy to set-up.
I'm from germany, stuttgart. The public transport (http://www.vvs.de/) has an usefull feature.
You can punch in the start of your bus stop and then the end stop. as well the day and time and so on. (http://www2.vvs.de/vvs/navi_efa_en/index.html). then comes the search....at the end you get a schedule how to get from start to end with the lines and where to change and how long it will take and so on.

Thgis would be a veeeery usefull feture for Shanghainees. Th english version for foreigners. Check it out.
