Today, my friend told me that he had somebody crack his XBox for 150 RMB.
There is already some venders in Shanghai to crack XBox for people. It takes about 2 days and cost 150 RMB (about 20 USD).
After that, all kinds of piracy disks are open for your selection. The original disk costs 49-59 USD, but the pirated disks cost only 25 RMB.

This is so sad. How's it different from stealing?
If you're a broke student like me and want to save some money, you can buy used games from auction sites etc.
Piracy is just not right.

If you never intended to buy the game in the first place, getting it on the street doesn't deprive the game maker of any revenue. And in China, few people intend to buy games at 50 USD.
Besids, how's buying a used game from an auction site any different than buying a pirated version? If you buy used from a third party online, the game maker does not get a penny of revenue, just as if you were to buy it from a street vendor selling a pirated version. The only difference is that some third party gets to make a tidy sum.
I'm not saying theft is good, but it's ridculous to suggest that digital piracy is equivalent to traditional theft. If the game maker doesn't lose money, there's no harm. And if there's no harm, there's no foul.

I have no idea. You have to keep it in mind that XBox does not sell on the China market. All the XBox you buy here are sold illegally. They often get it in Japan and ship it to China to gain higher margin.

Companies and online shops should device their own methods to beat the fraudsters and provide an option for people with money who want to do business.
I would rather have the deduction made from my account or credit card before shipping, I think on the part of businesses that have suffered in the hands of "419 ers" and Nigerians willing to shop online this is a fair suggestion.

it is really surprising that nobody wants to do business with nigerians. here i am with my websurfer account trying to buy an x-box 360 and a playstation 3 for my younger ones but nobody will ship to nigeria. there are decent people in nigeria o! please which of the stores can confirm payment before shipping even if it takes a month.

Y'all had best beware of this "buy and ship to Nigeria" people. Its a hoax. The moment you pay, your money is so gone and the person disappears into thin air. They could even set an initial proposition where they actually deliver to make u all comfortable with making payments and the moment y'all make the payments, bam! They disappear, No Xbox, No money!!!
