Organizing my Folders

I am trying to organize my folders - after being a “digital worker” (a phrase I borrowed from Microsoft to describe people like me whose output is just some digitalized work) for 8 years, I definitely have huge amount of digital asserts. It is not just something like several gigabytes of MP3, or game, or video - acturally I have none of them (my focus has shifted to something else 4 years ago). Most of my asserts are created by myself - PPTs, codes, blogs, pictures I took in difference cities or countries, Word documents, Excel documents, contacts, mails. To be short, there are many of them.

So I organized the folders in this way:

Root Folder

As I described in my last article, I keep all my data on drive D, and never format it (I do run scan disk from time to time).

On Drive D, I have two folders. One is called Download, which contains all folders I downloaded (without any modification) from Internet. That means,

I don’t back up this folder too frequently because of these two reasons and because of the large size of the folder.
