  1. Tell us about you and your profession. Where do you live? What do you do?

This is Jian Shuo Wang. I am currently the head of Kijiji, an eBay fully-owned company on classified in China. I was with Microsoft for 6 years before. I am more willing to be addressed as a blogger. I have a blog at http://home.wangjianshuo.com. It receives 2 million page views every single month. I kept writting one article every day (no more, and no less than one article) in the last 3 and half years. So I have more than 1200 entries in my blog already. Ｉstarted blog in Sept, 2002, when not many people blog. I live in my apartment (with a nice garden) in Pudong.

  1. Write about your interest in buildings or skyscrapers.

I have strong interest in buildings, especially those under construction. My father was an engineer (graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University), and I was happy playing construction site when I was young. I also entered Shanghai Jiao Tong University 30 years later, and major in automation.

The topic of my blog is about the city of Shanghai. I am interested to take pictures of buildings and construction site (like elvated high way). Do you want some examples? Here are some entries out of the 1200+ articles about Shanghai；

Shanghai. I’ve lived in Shanghai for more than 10 years， and have blogged about Shanghai for three years.

I am a frequent traveller to Beijing, but my major interest in on Shanghai

Also, I was editor of Microsoft community website in China. Now, I am the head of a 30 people organization in eBay.com

  1. In what format can you provide images for the site (e.g. 6 megapixels)? What camera do you use?

I used Sony P8, with 3.2 megapixels, for 2 years. I am planning to buy Nikon 70D or Canon 350D this month. So I want to be a contributor so I can leverage the newly bought 8M camera.

  1. Are you an experienced photographer? Do you own and use a graphics program such as Photoshop?

One - two hours. I always bring my camera with me - all the time, no matter where I go. That is the reason you may find many entries in my blog have one or more photos.

  2. I love to take pictures of buildings.

  3. I love the city of Shanghai, and want to do something to record its growth

  4. I fit the position best - I don’t think there are too many people with the photography skills, passion for a city and buildings, and Internet skills.

  5. I will produce building pictures anyway - as part of my blogging life. So you don’t want need to worry to motivate me. :-D

  7. How important is accuracy of technical data for you?

It is exteremely important, especially an engineer major graduate. That is the reason I spent serious time in filling forms.

No. My company is in the Internet industry (Kijiji.com.cn, part of eBay.com)
