Mannual Way to Manage my Directory

• FTP to home.wangjianshuo.com with my user name and password (I won’t tell you though)

• Go to /scripts/links folder/admin/data folder.

• GET links.db to local disk.

• PUT links.db links-2005-09-24.db (as a backup of the old file)

• Notepad links.db to get the content

• Click here (password protected) to rebuld the links source.

• Check out this page.

• Open links.db and check out the first number in the text.

• Search for the number in the new linksfeed.htm and copy all the content before the number.

• Copy and paste the content into Excel.

• Copy and paste all the content in links.db under it.

• Select the column A and point to Data menu and click Text to columns… button.

• Click Next> once and enter “|” as delimitor and click Next untill I finish the wizard.

• Select column D and press Ctrl+1, and enter d-mmm-yyyy as date format.
